Description
Cajuns and Creoles of Louisiana often held dances either in their home of in the church hall. Whole families arrived. "do do" means "sleep" in Cajun French. This is something the parents hoped the children would do.As a grandmother to many I've gone to many a Fais Do Do.
The original Folk Art painting is approximately 6.5"X6.5".
